📢 Important HOA Update – Volunteers Needed
Hi neighbors! I wanted to share an important update regarding our HOA and the need for new community members to step into leadership roles.
As many of you know, my regular term as HOA President ended more than two years ago. Since no one else expressed interest in taking over at that time, I have continued managing the HOA and its operations in order to spare any added expenses.
My family and I will now be moving out of the neighborhood in December, which means it is officially time for me to pass the torch. We need at least 1–2 homeowners to volunteer to take over the HOA Board responsibilities within the next 30 days. I am more than happy to help with the transition, explain the responsibilities, provide all of the existing records and information, and make the handoff as easy as possible.
If we are unable to find volunteers within that timeframe, the HOA will need to hire a professional management company in November to assume the responsibilities. This would allow the HOA to continue operating properly, but it would also introduce an additional ongoing expense. If you are interested, please send an email to eldersburgoakcreek@gmail.com.
Thanks!
Christie Huter, HOA President
